Student Visa (D4)

Description: The D4 visa is for students who will be undertaking an undergraduate, postgraduate or doctoral degree, or a long-term educational or language programme in Portugal. The main requirements are: acceptance by an educational institution, sufficient financial resources and accommodation. It also allows for part-time work within certain hours.

Who is it for: University students, participants in long-term language/exchange programmes, PhD students.

Terms and conditions: You must have an offer from an educational institution, demonstrate financial eligibility (living costs + tuition fees), arrange accommodation, have health insurance, a clean criminal record and a NIF.

Required documents: Passport, visa application form, letter of acceptance, proof of financial means, accommodation confirmation, health insurance, criminal record certificate (for those aged 18 and over), NIF, diploma/transcript.

Scope: Obtaining the NIF, guiding applicants through the admission/application process, preparing financial and accommodation documents, arranging health insurance, compiling the application dossier, and coordinating the appointment process.
